Well I do not want to be Catholic Debby Downer today on this blog. It is important to see across this grand ole United States to look for what Dioceses appear to be on the right track. Then we shall ask ourselves how is that happening? Then Why not here?

Things are looking up in the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend.
We had no public sex scandals and our bevy of seminarians has grown from 3 or 4 some years ago to 16. The parishes here are strong with lots of confessions and a devoted laity. Bishop D'Arcy is a firm and fair man and we are poised to really grow as a local church.
That is good news. I love hearing that and we need to hear more of it
