Make No Mistake- LSU FANS LOVE LES MILES

I am continuing to alternate between Catholicism and sports today in my posts. An Alabama paper has a pretty good article today called LSU fans warming to Miles.

It is a good article ,but I disagree that this is some recent movement toward Miles by LSU fans. I often find that the people that had reservations about LES the last two years are a big minority of the LSU nation. I call them the nahoobs of negativity. You see this segment of the human population in areas other than sports. They are the constant complainers. They were out in force on LSU boards after we beat VT saying Hester was getting too much playing time. You see them on political boards all the time. The Internet has now given them a voice that portrays them as much bigger than they are.

I often find as to LSU and Miles these were the same people last year that were screaming to pull JaMarcus Russell and replace him with Matt Flynn, that complained that Les was not giving enough playing time to Flynn(he was injured and LES did not want the world to know about it we found out), and that OC Jimbo Fisher was the brains behind everything and poor ole Les was holding him back(see Florida State's current state to see how wrong that was!!) and other assorted complaints. They also have a irritating habit of never acknowledging how wrong they were in the past and move on full speed ahead to their next complaint

These people often get heard on Baton Rouge sports radio whose whole purpose is to stir the pot to get ratings. For instance right before Saban got hired at Alabama a big radio guy in Baton Rouge said Mrs Saban was looking for houses in Baton Rouge.

If there is one problem with LES is that he needs to be like Saban, Urban, and Spurrier in one area. That is controlling the fan base. SEC fans need a stern like father figure to tell them to shut the hell up and let the team be controlled by the experts. All three of those SEC coaches I mentioned can do that to a great degree.
