From The Recamier has her Daily Post yesterday here. She hit on the Saint of the day for Sept 5th Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, also known universally as Mother Teresa (died 1997). She has a ton of interesting trivia and facts for the day of Sept 5th. Also it was her birthday!!!!!. Go by her comment section and wish her many more happy years.
The Catholic Underground as I posted earlier has their new podcast up. I am listening to it now as I am doing the update and it is very good. The first part is sort of techie(which I like) but it gets into various Catholic things too. Great episode. There is a resource on the sacrament of Penance they talk about I am going to try to find together. They also get into reality shows here. I so agree. I am becoming a old movie fan more and more.
Cajun Cottage Under the Oaks has a great post with pics about her visit to Kansas to the real Little House on the Prairie. Too cool. I used to watch that show when I was little.
Fr. Victor Brown’s Catholic Daily Message has a great post for today located here.
Astonished, Yet at Home! really needs our prayers for his dad. Go to his post Back in the Hospital
Thoughts & Ruminations from Fr. Ryan has some great post up. I have already mentioned his great post The Official Catholic Blessing for Beer. On a related note go see this very funny A forwarded email. He has two other post there I can't link for Sept 6th so go check them out
The Brown Pelican Society has a ton of post as Usual. I am having to do a errand across the street right now so I dont have time to list them because for some reason my computer has gone into slow loading page mode. Be sure to check his post out because their is a wealth of information.
That is it for the Catholic Louisiana update. Check these blogs and my other Louisiana Catholic blogs on my links as I am sure many will update.
