Is The Louisiana Catholic Conference Worth More Than A Warm Bucket of Spit to Catholics In North Louisiana?

Update- I just wanted to point out that I highlighted the good work they do in this post

Just curious. Does Daniel Loar , executive Director of the Louisiana Catholic Conference. know we exist? Is he reading the Newspapers? Will this hit the Vatican Radio News Site before we start hearing from the Catholic Conference as well as other Louisiana Catholic bodies? I understand the individual Dioceses are in a tight spot here because of IRS regulations and laws as to political campaigns.

However, this agency according to their Mission statement

The Louisiana Catholic Conference, rooted in the teachings of the Catholic Church,is an agency of the Roman Catholic Bishops of the State who constitute its Board of Directors. The Conference serves to coordinate teaching through joint pastoral statements;to promote collaboration in shared projects among Catholic dioceses and other entities;and to communicate and interact with local, parish, state and federal bodies.
I think if these TV ads were running in South Louisiana people would be storming the gates. I can't even get a email returned from them.
Never in the history of Louisiana politics have we seen such a blatant open attack on the Catholic Faith of a person running for office. Does the Louisiana Catholic Conference not think this is a big deal? Protestants and Evangelicals seem to think it is.
As I have stated, The Diocese of Shreveport is without a Bishop. Thus we need Catholics across the State to be making statements and being advocates for us. The good people at the Diocesan Office of Shreveport have their hands full already and not having a Bishop makes responding to matters like this even more problematic.
I find it embarrassing that Protestants and Evangelicals Ministers are stepping up to the plate and Catholics in certain positions are not.
Perhaps they are working behind the scenes. Someone let me know if they are and I will update this entry Perhaps Mr Loar and others are in contact with Democrat Politicians ,that don't return my emails either, asking that this now embarrassing Internationally reported episode be ended.
The Louisiana Catholic Conference does important work. I would hate to think that their vision does not extend North of Alexandria Louisiana. Especially in situations like this
