More News On the Ads Bashing Catholicism and What Does Foster Campbell Think?

Time for an update how Catholicism is under attack down here in Louisiana.

First let me introduce a new Blogger to my blog links. That is Revolution 21. HE is living in Nebraska. However not only is he Catholic but is from Baton Rouge also. He post frequently on Louisiana and his faith.

He is Democrat and is fit to be tied over this. He has been on this story from the beginning. I would suggest you start reading his most recent post By their quotes ye shall know them . Read that entire post because he sums it up nicely.

Let me quote the New Orleans Picayune Piece has in that post:
The two leading Democratic candidates also refused to denounce the commercial, even as they moved to disassociate themselves from it.
"I have not seen the ad in question. However, if the quotes about various religions attributed to Mr. Jindal are in fact his writings, I firmly believe that he should retract his comments," state Sen. Walter Boasso, D-Arabi, said.
Public Service Commissioner Foster Campbell also said he hasn't seen the ads but said he has little sympathy for Jindal if the words used in the ads come from the candidate's own writings
.

"If he said that and it's documented, then he's going to have to live with it or sue the Democratic Party and make them stop it," Campbell said
.

What leadership by Foster Campbell. I am just blown away. Oh and is anyone buying he has not seen the ad?

Again folks I am Republican. But I have battled Republicans when they crossed the line. Right now there is a Republican by the name of Tom Tancredo running for President. In the past I have held him to the fire on comments that verged on anti Catholcism and especially the people that he hangs with that bash the Church. This is about a standard that we must uphold. This is about my faith and not politics. As a Republican and Jindal supporter it is in my interest in the short term to let the State Democrat Party commit suicide by doing this. Everyone I have talked too up here are very turned off by those ads. You know the Baptists and Methodist that the Democrat state party think are a bunch of yahoos.

Revolution 21 has a lot more good post on this subject. Go see What La. Dems don't want you to read . Yes there it is. You see when you go the Democrat Web site you can't read the entire article. Here you can see what they are leaving out.

I find his post on TWO CAN PLAY the game of Wild Political Smears and Distortions. To wit: pretty instructive on how vile and misleading this all is.

Go read at this entry of his here to see more of what Jindal actually wrote.

Why is this important? Because it has no place in Louisiana politics. None what so ever. Catholic converts beware. If one day you tell your conversion story to the Catholic faith don't plan running for the school board or even dogcatcher if these stuffs stands. It will be a pox on all our houses
