Catholic Archdiocese of Mexico City Gets Substantial Fines- Democracy Threatened ?

This is a pretty blatant power move by the party in power sadly. It appears we are regressing at a fast rate to the bad ole days in Mexico. Time Magazine has Mexico's Free Speech Fracas: For Once It's Easy to Defend the Church

I usually just ignore the comments at these pieces by folks that just want to throw bile at the Church but it reaches new levels of ignorance.
