March 26th LSU Sports Round Up- Baseball, Football, and Lady Tiger Basketball

There is so much LSU Sports news and so much stuff breaking I have decided to put it in one post.

First we learn from the Advocate that District Attorney Moreau seeks LSU athletic post. That is of course the big LSU AD positon. The article gives a good overview who is in the running and where we are at. Needless to say Moreau will be one of the top contenders. OF course while this going on we have a Men's Basketball Coach to find. The Advocate has Rosetta: As coaching search drags on, hurdles could arise On that same note see the Advocate's Pierre: I’m 'perfect fit' for job

LSU Football-
First it was announced on Baton Rouge Sports radio that Ryan Perrilloux is Back and coming back to the team today. His Suspension might be over. Let us hope that the leader of the team has learned his lessons. Go see also Guilbeau Blog: It's possible that Perrilloux returns Wednesday. There is not a lot of sources in that article and I note that Glen appears not to have written anything I have seen in his official column for the Gannett papers. We shall see soon enough in a few hours.

Its LSU Pro Day!!! Go see the Picayune's Tigers look to sway scouts on 'Pro Day'. Also in the Picayune is Pro Day to have curious visitor that person being Alley Broussard.Football Seniors to Showcase Talent at '08 Pro Day as well as 2008 LSU Football Pro Day is from LSU Sports net. Glenn Guilbeau has Dorsey takes center stage

Lady Tigers Basketball-
The LSU paper has a real good article here at Chancellor brings fun, hard work to team. The LSU Reveille also has 2008 could be Lady Tigers' last chance to bring home title. The Advocate has Tough test from Marist could benefit LSU . The Shreveport Times has Marist player's 'trash talking' motivates LSU guard White. We are playing Oklahoma State in the start of the Sweet 16 on Saturday of course. The Tulsa Oklahoma paper has a story up today called Tiger 'D' will test Cowgirls

LSU Baseball-
LSU handled the Northwestern Demons last night 10 to 3.The LSU baseball blog of course has a lot of stuff from last night. Check it again for tonights game against UNO. More on that in a bit
LSU Sports net has Coleman Pitches Tigers Past Northwestern State, 10-3. The Reveille has Tigers' walk-out songs tell stories. They also have a story on last nights game at Tigers defeat Northwestern State with ease to keep momentum from weekend. Fox 44 has a story plus their TV sports spot online at Demons Toppled by Tigers, 10-3. The Alexandria Town Talk has LSU extends streak in win over NSU

LSU plays UNO at LSU tonight which is always a great game. From a UNO point of view the Picayune has MORE THAN A GAME

In other news of a sad nature former LSU All-American David Toms is out of the Zurich Classic in New Orleans much to the disappointment to LSU and Louisiana golf fans. He has a back injury . The Advocate has Toms out of Zurich with injury
