Last night I mentioned I was a tad interested in who Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Converts are supporting in the US 08 elections for the White House.
So I think I shall Conduct a Straw Poll. THIS IS OPEN TO ALL DEMOCRAT, REPUBLICANS, AND THIRD PARTY FOLKS. Even though I talk in a exclusive manner about Republican here , I know I am just mirroring real life. Right now people actively involved are for the most part acting like the other side is an alternative Universe and not even aware they exist. We are seem wrapped up on what is happening on our side of the Street. So I am interested in all.
So the next day and half I will be searching the web and looking at Convert Blogs that have announced they are supporting X. I will also include people that are leaning toward one person. Inital Result posted tomorrow night. We shall leave it t open for a while and check in from time to time to update
So if you are a Catholic Convert please do this. (If you are a Convert to Eastern Orthodoxy please state that explict)
(1) If a Blogger tell me your preference in the comment section and I will link your blog in the post. PLEASE TELL ME YOUR PAST Christian Community affilation or if you had none. I am very interested in seeing if there is a trend that indicates past faith traditions might or might not play a role in our choice
(2) If you do not have a blog comment anyway and leave the above info. I shall incorporate that result.

I don't know how you want to qualify me, but essentially despite the fact that I was Episcopalian I really considered myself non-denominational Evangelical during my Protestant phase ... so if I had to ask you to qualify me I would stick me there.
I am leaning towards Huck with the lesser option being Paul (and the only other from what I can tell)
I am leaning McCain and I was a Presbyterian of the evangelical type before becoming a Catholic. I haven't had a chance yet to blog about the NH debates, but I will soon.
Cool
Oh and Leeann don't feel you have to do a specific entry. Even if people do or epople in the comments want to give theri reeasons to vote for their person I will include that link to their post
