We LSU fans are a curious bunch. We pretty bunch to expect the sky to fall at any moment. That is one reason why we are so critical of everything. I think in the back of our minds we are preparing ourselves for God to make the Universe right again and put LSU as a also ran in the SEC.
However this year there are hints of quiet confidence this year among the fans. Still nothing gets LSU fans more agiatated about the possible Coaching changes at LSU. It is the 10,00o pound elephant in the room that we wish was not there. The fact that Coach Miles might leave to go coach at his beloved Michigan is enough to keep LSU fans up at night. However in the background is a almost equal fear. That is Defense Guru Bo Pelini might be headed out too. When you factor in that this is a very important recruiting year(more on that later in a separate post) it is enough to drive us to distraction. Coach Miles last night on his weekly radio show was asked about this topic where he basically said he would fight to keep him if he could.
Many fans(including myself) are hoping that if Coach Miles leaves the timing will be right so we can offer Coach Pelini the job. That would mitigate some of the damage.
