Louisiana Catholic Blogger for Oct 19th

From The Recamier who is on vacation is blogging on the road. Her post yesterday starts out with a nice summary of Saint Luke, Evangelist (died c. 74) who we honored yesterday. She is talking about what she and her husband are seeing on the road. They saw the beautiful Blue ridge Parkway yesterday. There are a ton of historical facts in her posts as well.

Catholic Tube has more Catholic You Tube vids up. Check out this vid on St Augustine.

Footprints on the Fridge is also taking a small vacation up in the more northern parts of Louisiana. Check out her post C is for Camping. Also see her post Fun with our new Camera.

As I posted earlier Catholic Underground has their new podcast up at Episode 55: AEE!$.

Full Circle has some really good posts up As usual they are really worth the time to take reading. Check out Parental rights ... . That post is about the controversy in Maine pertaining to Birth Control being passed out to kids. I enjoyed his post here at A not so short list of reasons why we have chosen to homeschool . Also see his post Unbalanced homeschooling .

Thoughts & Ruminations from Fr. Ryan has this post up The Ant and the Grasshopper: 2 Scenarios. Before you GEAUX VOTE TOMMOROW read this :)

Dei Gratia as usual has a very sensible post up. It is about voting. Remember tomorrow GEAUX VOTE. See his post Catholic Proportionalism when it comes to voting.

Alive and Young has a two interesting post up. Check out this post on swearing at work You Son of a . . . . Also a post on Christian humor at Christian Humor Blogging Part 6 .

Astonished, Yet at Home! at the top of his blog has a perfect post for Friday that reminds us to GEAUX VOTE tomorrow. Check out his thoughts at Vote on Saturday! . Let me say that after much consideration his voting recommendations are on the ones I shall be doing tomorrow. The toughest choice I had was for Attorny General. There is no way in heck I am voting for Caldwell. Despite being a Republican I am leaning toward Foti. He references Full Circle's post here at The Case for Homeschooling . We end with The Brown Pelican Society as Usual.
