Live Blogging Both LSU and Election Returns Tonight

What a night this should be. The polls close about the same time the LSU game begins. I shall be liveblogging all that starting at 8 pm.

Word is that turnout in New Orleans has been light. This bodes well of course for Jindal and bad for Attorney General Foti and Sec of Ag Odom. However we have seen this song and dance before too many times. The black vote(read democratic) starts surging about 4pm and goes gangbusters till 8 pm. We should be getting indications in a couple of hours where turnout is.

It has been fun tracking the robo calls. Senator Vittor has one out for Mike Strain that is running for Secretary of AG. The Sheriffs are very busy for Foti. Lot of Republicans Sheriffs too backing and calling for Foti.

I am also watching several House and Senate Races races. I was a tad frustrated that Republican Congressman Richard Baker did not endorse Decuir in the seat being vacated by Cleo Fields. That race and several other ones I shall be updating.

We had a week of early voting here are the numbers. The percentage is percentage of registered voters that have cast their ballot . Here are some of the Parishes I have found numbers on
