Will The History Channel Take Note? Knight Templar Documents Released By the Vatican

I used to watch the History Channel a lot more than I do now. They were so much better when they seemed to do about 12 hours on Hitler a day. They still have some good shows, even though I am not sure if they have money problems right now. It seems every time I flip it on they are replaying the same shows for the millionth time about killer Asteroids or Killer comets.

Anywho
They still have some programming gems on there. However their shows on anything to do with Catholicism are about 9 times out ten pretty horrid. They often interview as their "experts" the most extreme of well "heretics". They also have a tendency to embrace the wildest conspiracy theories and myths. The Knights Templar is one of those areas where fact and fiction get blurred worse than Oliver Stone's move JFK.

This is especially great for the history channel because often they tie in the Masons and Opus Dei and God knows what else on the same night.

I read with interest the Religion reporter for the UK Telegraph article called Talking nonsense about the Templars . It is a good read and focuses around the release of documents from the Vatican Secret Archive on this matter.
