Spring is In the Air So that Means Louisiana College Baseball

Well it does not fee likel spring yet(especially last night in Baton Rouge or Ruston) but several Louisiana teams have their opening game last night. I follow LSU and LA Tech Baseball a good bit. Both teams have major reasons to be excited this year. Good news both teams won last night

LSU won over Indiana last night 7 to 1. Go see Baseball Opens Season With 7-1 Win Over Hoosiers The Advocate has two stories here at Showing his stuff and Chilly beginning . The series continues Saturday at 1 p.m. and concludes Sunday at 11 a.m. Saturday’s contest will only be broadcast in the Baton Rouge area (WTGE 107.3 FM) due to the LSU men’s basketball game against Ole Miss at 5 p.m., but live audio and video will be available to members of the Geaux Zone at http://www.lsusports.net/. Boo hiss. However last night the game was broadcast through the Indiana station so you might want to try this link for the rest of the games.

Louisiana Tech beat Mcneese St 14 t0 5 last night. I wanted to go watch this series but since I was feeling under the weather decided not to get out in the night time cold. Go see Bulldogs Hit Three Home Runs in 14-5 Rout of McNeese State Game two of this weekend's series is set for 3 p.m. Saturday. Sadly because of a Basketball conflict there will be available radio coverage. The News star World has a story on last night's game. Go see Tech sluggers take over in 14-5 rout of McNeese State
