Germans Have to Decide Between Country and Family

This is a troubling story out of Germany involving Home School folks. Crunchy Con has the story here at First they came for the homeschoolers.... This law against Home Schooling has been around in Germany since 1938. It seems to have support from both major political parties.

I suppose I am so use to the concept of Home Schooling the though of putting people in Prison and taking their children away for the practice is sort of breathtaking to me. Perhaps if some German citizen comes along to this entry they can give the opposing viewpoint of why this is a good thing. Perhaps there is something I am missing
