We are sort of going into Post Pope USA trip mode posting. There will be still be some posts but the more mixing in politics, LSU and Louisiana Tech Sports, and other matters will start happening.
If you are are fan of the Sci Fi Show Battlestar Galactica you are aware that often it is mentioned by the characters , Cylon and Human, or Hybrid that All this has happened before and will happen again.
Louisiana High School Football Standout, LSU Football Stud , and huge contributor of the LSU National Championship Season, Jacob Hester must feel like this. Perhaps Jacob Hester is the last undisclosed "Final Five" Cylons and that explains his abilities!!!. I am sure Jacob thinks "That this has happened before and will happen again".
"That" is the continuous doubting of his incredible football abilities. He is not the right size, he is not fast enough, and even my goodness he is white with a goofy bad haircut so he cannot play position x.
He heard this in High School, and he heard it at LSU and now he is hearing it as he is preparing to go into the NFL PRO draft. Despite the fact that many of a College Coach, that used to be in the Pros, often commented in their pregame press conferences before playing LSU that he is one of the overall players they ever have seen. You got a sense that the opposing Coaches in the film room spent some time just as lovers of the game watching Hester and hitting that rewind button more than they needed too.
LSU fans and indeed many fans in the SEC period know Jacob will be fine. We saw , indeed many of us were his doubters, how he defeated the same arguments again and again. I have no doubt that Jacob Hester will be a fan favorite in the years to come.
