Why Do People Think Renaming the Health Care Bill After Kennedy Is a Good Idea?

This idea seems to be catching on

I have to say as a supporter of immigration reform the informal name of the McCain/Kennedy bill surely was not helping me convince moderate and conservatives.

I think it kind of shows a bubble people live in. These same people would scoff that naming something the STROM THURMOND BILL would help passage. Needless to say those names play different in different areas. Does Senator Landrieu or Senator Lincoln want to be asked questions about the KENNEDY health Care bill in their States? I doubt it. Kennedy of course was a important figure. But he was also very polarizing in especially blue dog districts.
