Newseeks Horrible Article On Gay Marriage (Sola Scriptora without the Scripture)

I have to say senior editor Lisa Miller ,who oversees all of the magazine’s religion coverage, article on gay marriage in light of the Christian and Jewish tradition is just horrid. I mean horrid. First is it me but when did religion editors become so Sola Scriptora or scripture alone. I keep seeing this come up more and more. BUT THE BIBLE IS NOT EXPLICT!! Well what about Tradition ( WITH A BIG T). Does that factor in?

That aside you know you are in trouble when the article starts out "Let’s try for a minute to take the religious conservatives at their word and define marriage as the Bible does". Hmmm as soon as read that I realized I was not going to get an very objective piece. The fact she heads up religious coverage over there is alarming.

Anyway Get Relgion that specializes in looking at the Secular media reporting of religion just shows how bad this article is at Sola scriptura minus the scriptura
