Because of the death of my Friend I have not had much time to listen to this podcast. I intend to this weekend. It is worth the time to check out Catholic Underground and listen to Episode 60: The Pope’s New Brooch and Other Stories. Full Circle is writing about something I would just like to forget. That is contained in his post Early Texas Tech Lead Proves Insurmountable for Bulldogs. This defeat and how it happened was the talk of talk radio up here. Sadly it was a nationwide story too!! Well there is next year that looks bright. By the way I will have shift loyalties to Louisiana Tech again. The LSU Lady Tigers are playing in Ruston against the Lady Techsters next Sunday. I hope Tech fans get out for that game. I also hope LSU fans come out and support the Lady Tigers. If LSU fans show up cahnces are we shall see more of these games in other sports as well where LSU comes up to North Louisiana to play games.

I thought that Fr. Victor Brown’s Catholic Daily Message had a great reflection on St Nicholas yesterday at Feast of Saint Nicholas (6 Dec 2007). It involves a true story about those men that were in the "Greatest Generation" in WWII.
