I thought Father Z had a excellent post on Pope Benedict and his upcoming speech to the United Nations. He produces on his site the excellent Op-Ed that John Allen had in the New York Times on the subject today. I am no fan of the National Catholic Reporter , however I am a big fan of John Allen who writes all things Vatican for them. He actually seems to know what is going on. It would be nice if another more Orthodox publication or evena secular organization could get him. Father Z gives his commentary and I agree with that.
