Tragic. It seems with the Pope talking about Purgatory and offering things up for the poor souls in Purgatory in his new encyclical that the end of the Notre Dame Football season is coming at a bad time. I must think Irish Fans offering up their woes of the past season must have been quite a benefit to the faithful departed. Imagine what what the "offering up" of a 10th Bowl Loss in row by the millions of Faithful Irish would have done!!!
However faithful Catholic and Fighting Irish supporter Fighting Irish Thomas has a great idea. He has produced the above shirt which reminds Irish fans they can still suffer and be productive about it.
Speaking of Suffering it appears that Charlie Weis is a tad too busy to tinker with anything involving Notre Dame Football dynamics because he is too busy recruiting. We learn in that article that somehow Nottre Dame is still getting the mess kids in the nation. Good Grief. Life is not fair. If LSU had a season like that we be behind Vandy in recruiting. Oh for LSU fans keeping track the good Coach of Notre Dame vote Georgia ahead of LSU at number 2!!! in his final ballot.

I sent a comment a couple of days ago to you. Did you receive it? Tom wanted to interview you for Fighting Irish Thomas in regard to LSU (congrats!) making it into the National Championship playoff game.
Please write Tom at tacotoole at comcast dot net. (He's interviewed many by the way! Has a whole book of interviews - in addition to scads of articles - as a matter of fact!) He would do a great job! He always does.:)
