How Catholics Did in the Famed Weblog Awards!!! The Good News and Bad News

Despite a aggressive campaign Father at Standing On My Head admitted defeat last night in the Best Blog awards , Best Religion Blog Award, to Father Z at his post Hail King Z . Father Z's blog is here at What Does the Prayer Really Say?. It is kind of amazing that a blog based on Catholic Liturgy won.

The results and who was in the running and the vote totals is located here at the Best Religious Blog page. As you can see the Catholics in the running really kicked butt- take that Protestants :) Though I am tad shocked that the one of the best intriguing blogs the evangelical outpost did so poorly in the voting. Whats up with that?

In best Individual Blogger award I am dismayed my favorite blogger and also fellow Catholic The Anchoress came in second. Though she did not run that of a aggressive campaign. She lost to a LIBERAL BLOG!!! See the results and who was in the running here. No doubt the vast Obama internet network played a role in forces of Liberalism winning here..

The Anchoress is probably still feeling the effects of her brave two years stance on the promotion of immigration reform that lost her some of her "conservative" readership. I suspect this lingering temper tantrum will go away after two years of the Obama regime. I intend to email the Anchoress and suggest that she start using the term Vagina again in more of her posts which excites the passer by readership. The Campaign for 2009 Starts today!!!!

In the best Culture Blog award the won .Art of Manliness. It should be noted a fairly recent blog by a Catholic Dirty Harry's Place was in the running. Total results and who was in the running here. Sadly Dirty Harry has closed his blog to open up another venture.

Now we come to the Best Blog Award. There is Good News and Bad News!! The Good News a "Catholic" Won. The bad news is that it is the insufferable Andrew Sullivan of Andrew Sullivan - The Daily Dish. Again the liberals were mobilized. For the results and who was in the running go here.

Till next year

James, you need to fix your blog, as to the error emails people get after posting comments.

What is your actual email, so I can send you tips? The last one you gave me did the same.

Love your Kmiec exchange, yes i did write him some strident emails, but I never got like he said people did.
