Andrew Sullivan Speaks On Pope's Lifting of Excommunications

As usual Andrew Sullivan is voice of calm Reason. NOT!!! See Benedict Lifts This Man's Ex-Communication

Again the irony is incredible. I do wonder if Andrew Sullivan , who is proclaims himself to be a faithful Catholic, despite being in quite vocal opposition to the Church on many matters , would think if his legal status in the Church was put in jeopardy by people making up new laws retroactive.

If Andrew does not realize that many Catholics view that he should be excommunicated for the scandal he causes well he is living in a bubble. But Sullivan is protected just like every other Catholic lay or Cleric.
