Conservative Catholics Have Great Election Night

In the Great State( I actually think it is a Commonwealth not sure) the major Pro-life victories were in Virginia. We replaced the scandal of a pro-abortion Governor with a Republican Pro Life and Pro Family Governor. Catholic Online has the story on that at Pro-Life, Pro-Family Bob McDonnell Wins Governors Office in Virginia.

But Democrat. Deeds they will say ran a bad campaign or that is what the spin is. Well that does not explain how PRO-lifers gained the two other Statewide seats by wide margins. That is the Lt Governor's race and the Attorney General. See Pro-Life Advocates Win Big on Election Night With Virginia, New Jersey Victories

There were also gains in the VA House of Delegates and I will check to see if the gains were pro-life there

The New Jersey race and Pro-life issues were at play. See above link. Also see here. He was backed by most major pro-life groups in New Jersey. I don't think he is as anti abortion as I would like but he favors restrictions that are step in the right direction and a needed improvement.

The icing on the cake is the voters of Maine decided to repeal the "right" to same sex marriage that their legislature voted in.

The Governors races will be huge because in two very populated States they will play a critical role in redistricting the Congressional districts.
