Fuc#### Campaign Ads in Fuc#### New Fuc#### Orleans

Well I agree it is "edgy". Hmmm perhaps we should not want even political ads to go this level do we?

A somewhat unusual television ad for New Orleans candidate for mayor James Perry starts running today on local television stations. In the ad, actors representing local voters blurt out "are you f****g kidding me" and "are you sh*****g me?" The (bleeped) outburts in the ad are purportedly in response to a narrator deriding "career politicians" running for mayor. Perry says he agrees that the advertisement is "edgy." "When I'm neighborhoods talking to people, and they look at the two folks who are supposedly the front-runners in this race, they're livid..they're upset," he told WWL First NewsListen to Perry talk about the ad:

Political analyst Clancy Dubos says he's never seen a commercial like this, even as odd as Louisiana politics can be. "Well, if it works, it's a great idea," Dubos said. "I think it remains to be seen, however, if it's a good idea, based upon how people respond to it. Listen to Dubos talk about the ad:
