Rick Santorum is No Catholic Libertarian

I slightly disagree that Santorum at this point has become the anyone but Romney guy , or to be more specific the anyone but Romney AND Ron Paul guy. I think how he does in South Carolina and how he does in Florida will give us an indication of that. Of course Mike Huckabee emerged from Super Tuesday 4 years as the main opposition to McCain. But he is positioned to do so that is for sure.

The conflict here is real as to factions in the party and will be interesting to watch. While people outside the GOP are focusing on Santorum the social conservative its noteworthy that a significant part of the internal GOP battle is being fought over something else perhaps as to Santorum.
