Well that is Happy Ascension day in the United States if you happen to live in the ecclesiastical provinces of Boston, Hartford, New York, Newark, Philadelphia, and the state of Nebraska. I agree with Abita Deacon that in my charitable moments that "I kind of wish it was still celebrated on Thursday! "
However to be honest I am perhaps more often in the mood today of FATHER Z that thinks moving the Feast to Sunday was a bad idea. This needs to be changed back.
