The Catholic Church Does Not Need To Return to the 1970s

I should not be that harsh. There were some good things that came out of the 70's and 80's. I think the Charismatic renewal movement was a big plus.

However I agree with Monsignor Pope is going and not perhaps where Father Reese might be going. See

Here is the simple fact that so many people want to be in denial about. Parishes and Dioceses that return to Orthodoxy in the faith and the liturgy are booming. These places have a proper interpretation of Vatican II and realize that not everything before that council was thrown out the window. We need more of that and not a return to the mistakes that got us in this mess.
