Looking at the Diocese of Baton Rouge Newspaper

I don't know how I got away from reviewing what was in the Louisian Catholic papers that were on online. However I intend to get back into that. I expect new issues to come out shortly but lets start anyway.

I am going to hit the Diocese of Baton Rouge in this post and their paper The Catholic Commentator. The latest adition is available in PDF form here. I am highlighting the things that caught my eye.

The first page has two good article. First there is a article on kids that went to the March for Life in DC. Also there is a article I took much interest in That is one regarding the Louisiana Catholic College Students Organization and their conference they held in Baton Rouge last month. I was President of the group way back.

Page 2 has a article on the Christian Unity events that took place last month.

Page 3 has Father Carville's regular column. He is talking about the paradox of Lent.

Page 4 has a article on Couple that have been married and in Love for many years.

Page 5 has a article has the Louisiana Catholic Conference now has become officially the Louisiana Conference of Catholic Bishops

Page 6 has a interesting column on the Lectio Divina. As well as a column entitled Saving Tony Soprano

The paper is 28 pages and of course has a lot of upcoming events that are happening in the Diocese of Baton Rouge and other articles as well. Check it out. Sometimes the page is slow loading but just load it up and go make dinner if it is in the turtle phase.
