Another Great Q/A Session with the Pope

The Pope had another Great Q/A sessions with Priest the other day. This events are always interesting. He talked about a ton of things. Deacons, why we don't hear about Hell enough, Stadium Masses, etc

Whispers in the Loggia had a great overview here at From Fasting to "Exercise," Women to Deacons: The Pope Speaks... A Lot.Loggia focuese in part in part on the Pople's comments on the role of Deacons which I find interesting.

THe Ratzinger Forum has translated a good bit of this and can those entries can be found at the following pages. See ENCOUNTER WITH THE ROMAN CLERGY, 2/7/08 - Part 1 and ENCOUNTER WITH THE ROMAN CLERGY, 2/7/08 - Part 2 where the first 6 questions and answers are translated. Fasicnating stuff.

Chiesa also has some of it translated. Those Questions include Masses celebrated with large crowds. Pros and cons and Judgment, hell, heaven. The truths to rediscover . I thought the Stadium Mass question was interesting. It is apparent that perhaps Pope Benedict is not as a big fan of these as John Paul the II. Which might indicate why we are not having a great big National Mall Mass in DC in few weeks when the Pope comes to town. A event I would have loved to see.

Anyway good stuff.
