Vatican Working On Document For Scripture Hungry Catholics- BIG YAWN

Great!!! However I am pretty cynical about these things. The Vatican is always coming up with great documents and plans of action. However it does not mean a hill of beans if it not enacted on a local Dicoese level. I have decided to quit being frustrated by that and just resign myself to the fact that often the Local Bishops ignore all this stuff.

Question- the huge Pauline Year is about to start in weeks. The Vatican and Holy Father are big on this. Yet If you took a poll among Mass Going Catholics how many are even aware of it? Perhaps 2 or maybe and it's a big maybe 5 percent?

I hate to be cynical and I so hope to be wrong on this but this is how I am seeing it after years of experience.
