The LSU News Roundup for August 17th

Note Louisiana Tech Fans. I will post a Tech Roundup that should appear early in the morning. I want to listen to Sports radio out of Ruston first on my way to Shreveport

It is a slow day for News but to be honest there is not much to report.

The Glen Guilbeau(Gannett Papers) leads off with a story called LSU's two-a-days come to a close.

A few days ago the Advocate had a article on the kick off rule. The Picayune has one on this subject called New kickoff rule likely to bring lot in return.

The Advocate has a piece called Tigers enjoy rock, paper, scissors. Sort of a fun article on how the players play around. It also might have some good effects on the game as we see.

The LSU Sports site has a post up on LSU Baseball. It is called Mainieri to Welcome 18-Man Signing Class.

ESPN has a encouraging article called Tigers will have the biggest SEC bite in 2007.

Pokey Chatman the Ex LSU Women Basketball Coach has a new job. Chatman takes job coaching in Moscow is the article in the Picayune. I think that is a good move for her.

On to the Blogs-

Dandy Don has another big post up today. Dandy has good advice to LSU fans about the players taking a break from practices. It is a precaution chill out. Nothing bad is soing on.
