Louisian Catholics use this Resource To Stop Attacks on Our Faith

As I posted here there appears to be a smear campaign mounted as to Congressman Bobby Jindal that will focus on his Catholic Faith and religious views. The liberal blogs in Louisiana will get into this action. Louisiana Catholics whehter they are Democrat or Republican or Independent know this does not represent them. We know that this sort of politics does not have a tradition in Louisiana. The key is make it known that it will not be tolerated.

Over the the Louisiana Pelican Society they have page located here that list every Catholic Louisiana State Senator and State Rep by individual Diocese. Please call them and urge them to make it known that they will not tolerate this. If the person is republican ask them to call the state GOP to speak out. If he or she is democrat have them call the state party to speak out against this.

We can not control what is in the blogs and the rumor mill but it needs to be know that established Parties and their offshoots will not engage in this behavior. Louisiana has a long history since it became a state of religious tolerance. This crosses a line we do not wish have crossed
