IS Coach Nick Saban Catholic? I know he is Croatian so perhaps he is? No matter. Even though Coach Nick Saban might have a new Bishop to be in union with in the Diocese of Birmingham Alabama that will not help when LSU comes to town in November.
OF course the Holy Father was not considering what Coach Saban of the University of @#$@@@@# would like when he was picking this guy.
Mother Angelica's order and the biggest Catholic Television/Shortwave Radio network in the world happens to reside in this Diocese. In the past there has been some tension I hear. Mother Angelica also runs afoul of the Bishops at times. Which is one reason why legally she has seperated herself from EWTN and now its a private. Still it is important to get a good Bishop for this area for many reasons. The fact that EWTN/WEWN is there is a major one.

Nick Saban is Catholic. Some of my nephews went to Catholic school with his kids.
