Bobby Jindal , Exorcisms, and Our Catholic Faith

I think I am going to try to take a postive pro-active attitude toward this mud being thrown at Jindal and by implication all Catholics and Christians. I think my attitude has improved since the Saints(New ORleans) just scored to tie the game 10 to 10 against the Buffalo Bills. So I better hurry with this post before something happens. SO lets make this a learning experience.

For the Greater Glory Blog has this post Using's One's Faith as Political Ammunition. He really takes a liberal "Catholic" blogger to task for engaging in this. As you can see that blogger has photoshopped a photo there.

What you might not know is that this is the original Photo.

That photo is of Fr. Gabriele Amorth. He is the Catholic Church's leading Exorcist. Here is the very interesting London Telegraph with him.

Now I actually have a sense of humor and love to use it in politics. I am sure that humor would offend some folks. So I am not going to tear into him. I think Michael has done a good job giving his paternal concern toward another Catholic.

However as to what Bobby experienced ,saw and wrote about in a significant journal of Catholic thought years ago. A warning from the last words of that interview with what the good Father said.
"Remember, when we jeer at the Devil and tell ourselves that he does not exist, that is when he is happiest."
