Who Are We Boycotting This Week?- Gays and Straights Unite Shop Home Depot and Target This Weekend

I am really really getting tired of this boycott stuff every week. Yes at times I see a need for it but it loses it effectiveness if it is done at a drop of a hat.

Boycott Arizona!! Boycott California because cities there are Boycotting Arizona, Boycott Wholefoods Because the CEO does not like Obamacare, Boycott Conventions in New Orleans because the legislature passed some intelligent design bill, Boycott some gay dating service because some bigwig there donated to McCain, Boycott Cinco De Mayo because you disapprove of illegal immigration, Boycott the Hobby Lobby because you don't like the Christian thing etc etc etc etc etc etc

This gay blogger has a good idea in my book. See Shop at Target and Home Depot This Weekend

In the rural South I think the last time we had a real boycott was like was like in the Civil Rights movement. Not so much since then. Partly because in rural areas you have to get along. So I might go to a gay guy to get my hair cut though I know my money goes to support he and his partner's lifestyle. That gay person goes and patronizes a business though he knows the owner tithes to a Church that disapproves of his lifestyle. Somehow we all sort of get along. Amazing that we are portrayed as backwards
