What Is A Fundamentalist Orthodox Christian?

We have seen Fundamentalist Catholic!! (Don't get me started on that) Now we see FUNDAMENTALIST ORTHODOX.

I wonder what groups that really are fundamentalist think about the word being used for everything.

I am not very well educated, but I know that both the word "fundamentalist" and the word "orthodox" have different meanings depending upon whether capitalized. And both words can be used as either a noun or an adjective.
So the term "Fundamentalist Orthodox Christian" is really difficut to decipher. But in this case, I suspect that it refers to a group of adherrants who are particularly strict about the original tenets of the Russian Orthodox Church. And Russian nationalism and/or a desire to mix religion and government is likely to figure into it also.
As for me, I very much prefer the term "Conservative Baptist" rather than "Fundamentalist".

It's simply a pejorative term, in journaleese. It's like sic-ing someone extensively in legal motions.

I just think using Fundmentalist lie this is insane. WHy not Call them Nationalist.
