Well We Can't Blame Glenn Beck on the RINOS - Gay Marriage and The Libertarian Fantasy Land

I am a Republican that understands you have to have coalitions. So I am not anti the Libertarians branch of the Party. However it should have been clear to social conservatives this day was coming.

Over at First Things Joe Carter has a post Glenn Beck Sees No Harm in Gay Marriage

As he puts it in part:
To be fair, Beck isn’t a conservative so I can’t expect him to support the conservative position on gay marriage. He’s also not the kind of guy who is able to understand why abortion and traditional marriage are the “bigger fish” and more important than shouting about whatever closet-socialist was hired to work as an Assistant Secretary for Farm Subsidies at the USDA. He’s a libertarian entertainer acting like a libertarian entertainer....

He then asks if Beck is a influence to those that are concerned about abortion and gay marriage. Well I expect he will be careful. He has to get ratings and to be honest how many serious Libertarians that are thoughtful can listen to him for any period of time. However the Libertarian influence as we see in the Tea Parties and also in other areas is the threat or at least certain factions of it.

More on this tomorrow as I look the logic of Laws and Morals that Lincoln so well understood. And also which the Gay Marriage advocates very much understand and the Libertarians and sadly many social conservatives have forgot.

Anyone that thinks we are about to into the fantasy land of LIVE AND LET LIVE and Jefferson's " If it neither breaks my leg nor picks my pocket, what difference is it to me?” is deluded. In fact it is evident they did not read the Judges Opinion!!

I have to admit I understand some of the sentiment there. I have mixed feeling on it being at the WTC but I do not like the way the conversation has been going by some conservatives. I think it is counterproductive on mnay levels

Further they have a right to build it there. If they don't none of us are safe
