Sign- Obama Racially Discriminates Against Louisiana Cajuns and Wants To Destroy Them

What The British Government did OBAMA will do better !!
.

To be fair I don't think Obama hates Cajuns. Still I understand their frustration and yes some of these moves could destroy the last real living remains of one oldest French areas in the United States

The vid is here at Signs Call for Moratoriums End.

ince the beginning Gulf oil disaster, businesses across the region have missed out on making a profit, not only because of the spill, but the moratorium as well.

You see the signs all over Acadian asking the President to lift the moratorium on deepwater drilling.

But one man created a sign of his own, without sugar coating his message, it reads; "Arrogant President Obama has declared war on Louisiana...our Cajun heritage is being racially discriminated against."

So what was the reasoning behind the heated words about our President?

"To get under his skin."

Terry Lavergne, the owner of Total Rebuild in Lafayette, relies on the oil and gas industry for his business and since the start of the moratorium he's had to make some cut backs.

"We had to lay off 3 people and I'm not sure we're gonna put anyone else on until we figure out what's going on."

While Lavergne's struggles are felt throughout the region, his opinionated sign isn't something everyone agrees with.

"I think it's stupid, I think it's stupid personally" says McCormick Randell.

Others we spoke with don't believe the president is being discriminatory like the sign says, but do feel that there is a disconnect between him and the people of Louisiana.

"I think that President Obama is not in tune with the small people in Louisiana, he's in dc and surrounded by big names and our small problems aren't really his concern" Mitch Richard.

Despite the heated words pinned up on terry Lavergne's business one message is agreed on across the board by residents; the ban on drilling needs to be stopped.

"It's a job killer, we need to get jobs back, we need to get back to work" says Terry Lavergne.
