I noticed this 1949 movie is going to be on Turner Classic Movies this Wednesday. No doubt a controversial film for 1949.
There is some interesting legal history regarding this film and it happened in a town not too far from where I live. (Scroll down to critical reception) Things you never know. Another review here .
