How the Catholic Church Will Protect Anglo Catholic Parishes and Their Anglican Patrimony

There are some concerns that Anglo Catholic have that some Dioceses might not have the most friendly Bishop or perhaps they will not be welcomed by certain factions of Catholics (Guess who those are).

I think the cases shall be rare (at least here in the USA). Also it is of vast importance the Anglican Patrimony itself flourish and enrich the entire Church.

Anglo Catholic has a great piece on this how the Church already has a similar system that protect various patrimonies. See Ordinariate Life: Some Parallels from the Experience of Exempt Religious

On a side note here is a great site that talks about the Anglican Patrimony that we hope will enrich the whole Church. Anglo Catholic has that link here A New Site for Those Interested in the Ordinariates.

I think this model will be very productive. Also it gives the the Anglo Catholic Parish under the ordinariates created by Anglicanorum Coetibus in a local local diocese the full ability to evangelize. I have always though that these ordinates will not grow by just Anglicans coming in but will be a place Evangelicals looking toward the Catholic faith will find a home they are comfortable in.
