Well this will be cool. See Sports Reality.net by Alex Farrer. His past LSU bio is here.
He has an entry up at College Football Set to Begin.
ALex does not hold anything back. After talking of his love for College Football he says:
Now that I have rambled on for awhile, I want to touch on one more interesting issue: The agents that are seemingly tearing apart the game. For starters, if anyone is a pimp, then it is Nick Saban. I hate the idea that everyone is jumping on the agents. I realize that agents are shady and simply use the athletes for their talents. But there must be some accountability by the athletes. I played in college, and I was totally aware of what is right and wrong. There were no loose ends or confusion on what is expected of you, trust me. Coaches would go to my teammate's house before practice just to wake their ass up. You better believe somewhere along the line they mentioned to stay away from agents. The reality is that the player is being selfish. Whether he takes money from agents or boosters, it is wrong! I feel sorry for the athletes that obeyed the rules, and they get screwed by Reggie Bush, Chris Webber, and Lane Kiffin. Well, actually it does not matter who you are, Lane Kiffin will find a way to stab you in the back. The responsible players have their college careers eliminated by greedy individuals who could not wait a year to get paid. Regardless, college football is alive and kicking, and I cannot wait for the first game.
Well this looks it will be fun.
