Amazing Find - Churches with Lots of Confessions Have Vocations

This priest has a good post at Good Confessions, Good Vocations.

I really believe that if the average Priest really gto on to his flock about going to confession about 75 percent of the problems in the Catholic Church would be solved. Every Parish I have been in that had lines at confession was healthy and alive. When you don't have that it is obvious a Parish full of people in mortal sin is not a good thing and will not produce much.

Confessions produces not only vocations to the priesthood and religious life but helps the vocations of lay folks in their calling.

You are likely right about the Sacrament of Penance being responsible for more vocations and the Grace to live one's own.
I just came back from trying to go to confession before Mass (in London Ontario!) and found (as usual) that there was not enough time for the priest to hear confessions as he had to say Mass.
If you go to communion without a clear conscience you commit another more serious sin.

I live on the verge of despair trying to keep up with the demands of conscience.
If the Church wants people to take the sacrament of penance seriously they should make it more readily available.
