Catholics and Hagee- The Untold Story of Understanding

Tip of the Hat to Catholics For McCain for this.

I have been pretty consistent on this blog how I felt that many Catholics went overboardt in their rection to Huckabee speaking at Hagee's Church and then the reaction to Hagee and McCain.

Part of the problem is that mnay McCain supporters rushed to condeem Huckabee but failed to note that McCain, Brownback, and countless others have had a relationship with Hagee for some time. Why people did not avail themselves of the wonders of google I do not know.

To be honest Deal Hudson at Inside Catholic was part of this problem too. However I will give to Mr Hudson. I think he saw that something tragic was happening and wrong that was outside the dynamics of the 08 election.
