If people caught the news the raid of the Alamo Christian Ministries in Arkansas no doubt was noticed.
What might have been forgotten or not know by many people is the Alamo Ministries were in the forefront of Anti Catholicism for decades till they became even too controversial for the most fervent of anti Catholics. You would see their stuff nailed to telephone poles (THE VATICAN CONTROLS THE CIA AND IRS) and their publications in churches and in truck stops and at county fairs all over the place.
Back in 1990 The Catholic Publication This Rock did a nice review of Tony Alamo and his anti Catholic trash at Nailing Tony Alamo. He also took up a lot of space in the ground breaking Catholic Apologetic book Catholicism and Fundamentalism: The Attack on "Romanism" by "Bible Christians
It is very temepting to gloat because of the Catholic hate and souls he has led away from the Church. However that is not the example of Christ and I will say a prayer for him and all involved in this tragic mess mess tonight

Oh, yes, I remember very well the Tony and Susan Alamo Foundation from the 1980's. At one time they targeted the Richmond Cathedral gluing nonsense posters about the Vatican owning Time, Newsweek, CBS, NBC and ABC, the UN etc., etc. In the same period we had regular bouts of of "preachers" interrupting mass holding up bibles and shouting down the priest and calling him a Satan Worshipper. Yes, that Tony and Susan are a class act, they are.
Whatever befalls them, they will not be missed.
