One more post on Professor Doug Kmiec ("Non partisan authentic Advocate of Catholic Social Doctrine Versus us Republican Catholic Hacks) who is also supporting Obama. I talked about him earlier today at A Review of Douglas Kmiec Book On If A Catholic Can Support Obama .
Prof Kmiec has got me riled up today which is sad since I was in a very good mood after LSU beat Auburn. Perhaps it is because the Saints lost to Denver yesterday that his nonsense is getting more under my skin this morning.
Pro Kmiec used to be a Republican Mitt Romney Supporter!!! How he became an Obama supporter have never been explained by him to my satisfaction. I have ideas why but they are just my gut feelings.
Why does not Prof Kmiec talk about McCain's advocacy of immigration reform. A reform that Romney( who Kmiec supported) bashed over the head with in the Republican primary and who Obama (who he now supports) killed with a poison pill at the request of Unions? Does this not fit into Catholic Social Justice thought? In fact was this b,esides abortion, the issue that Catholic Bishops and the Vatican had more involvement with in the political square in decades.
When he talks about how Obama programs will help reduce Abortion does it not make sense that McCain immigration proposals would do the same. Would this happen by keeping more family units intact and bringing people out of the shadows? You might not agree with immigration reform but it seems to be a argument that at least Kmiec would have to concede. Why doesn't he have the guts to tell Obama in a public fashion to quit running misleading ads aimed at the Hispanic Community that tries to link McCain to all people Rush Limbaugh as to the immigration issue? Wo
Why does Kmiec not talk about McCain stands on torture that he took a lot of heat for? The reason is because Kmeic is no non partisan voice that is neither "left" or "right" or what ever expression is vogue today in Catholic Social Justice Circles.
Why doesn't he applaud McCain for having a more friendly approach to the Preservation of Marriage as defined as between a Man and a Woman than Obama does. This is also a Catholic Social Justice issue!!! Obama wants to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act for goodness sake.
There has been a horrible lack of the media and others holding Kmiec's feet to the fire on these matters as well as others.

As for Kmiec, where do you start attacking a man who supported a Mormon in the primaries and now carries water for an interloping Muslim, who worships at a "church" led by Jeremiah Wrigh for 20 yrs.????
You are right...he doesn't cite Mac's opposition to torture, his immigration bill(which I opposed), his foreign policy which does not include occupation, his new stem cell policy (thanks to Brownback), the justices he would appoint and finally his pro life record!!!
B. Hussein Obama is a abortionist and a man who believes in infanticide, look at how he disparaged Stanek and Gianna of the Birth Alive movement.
