Ann Althouse On Willow Palin's Supposed Homophobic Comments

I could not have said it better myself. See :
As Bristol Palin makes the DWTS finals, the anti-Palin forces say look over here: It's Willow Palin's "homophobic rant."

Update-
In reference to a comment I am not endorsing her use of certain language. I do agree with her that it is folly to make moral judgement and sweeping indictment of hate and homophobia based on this comments

Saying "pussy" does not make Ann Althouse a misogynist, it just means that she had no better upbringing than the Palin children. If my children went around calling other people "faggots" and "pussies", I would know that I had failed as a mother.

Well I disagree with Althouse use of that word. That being said Parents do not fail because at times their children use crude words among themselves. This is not all that uncommon. It needs to be corrected but not uncommon. Needless to say calling this 16 year old girl things like a hater is a tad out there

Oh, c'mon. Almost every kid in America is homophobe if use o the word "faggot" is any indication.

And I also call B.S. on the notion that kids saying "pussy" and "faggot" means that their parents are "failures" and need "better upbringing". What nonsense. Children shouldn't curse and call names. Parents should teach their children not to curse and call name. Guess what? Children often curse and call names anyway.

And sometimes the children of perfectly good parents get knocked up. Guess what? Life happens to the best of us, Anonymous.

So spare us your self-righteous, holier-than-thou attacks on the Palins and their childrens' "upbringing". At the very least, have the guts to put your name to it.
