I hit on this last night at Immigration Outrage- Former LSU Tiger and Family to Be Deported
Please call your Congressmen on this issue. I called Congressmen Fleming and Cao office this morning. I also called the Rhode Island Senator that is mention in the Dodd article who is heading up the effort to rectify this silly situation.
Congressman Cao of New Orleans was a immigration Lawyer and I think he is important to contact.
From my understanding this family is Catholic. I would suggest calling the Diocese of Baton Rouge Immigration Services to see if they are applying pressure.
Last but but least Dodd talks about some LSU "plan" to help out. Call them to support it!!! This situation should be resolved once and for all. It is outrageous these people cannot apply for citizenship.
