Get Religion highlights a One Billion Dollar downtown Development project the Mormons are doing in downtown Salt lake City. Lot of interesting cultural , political , and economic questions are raised.
Still the fact that the Mormon could write a ONE BILLION dollar check for this is incredible when you think all the other faith communities are having to do massive cut backs.
Too bad the Catholic Church is so cash poor right now. We could go on a massive Cathedral building efforts to help out the local economy.
