Capitan America Combats the Tea Party Movement!!

I guess in my last week of ALL THINGS NEW ORLEANS SAINTS I missed this controversy. American Catholic has a good post on this at Captain America vs. The Tea Partiers!

I sort of disagree with one comment that good comics should be apolitical. Comic books have for a long time have had a political bent (whether that be bent to the right or left or some other view). Think of comics and the role some Superheros played around the issue of race.

However what has slightly changed and is very non productive is that Comics see to be more "Partisan" which is different.
