The Washington Post Tries to Tackle Christine O'Donnell's Catholic Faith

Good Grief. I love all these words and phrases "Indoctrinated" and "tow the line". Besides that and the quibble I have below not bad.

See What does Christine O'Donnell believe about God?

Let me address this part:
On creationism, O'Donnell's beliefs, at least as expressed in 1996, mirrored that of some Christian churches who promote creationism over evolution as an explanation for the origin of life on earth.
"Well, creationism, in essence, is believing that the world began as the Bible in Genesis says, that God created the Earth in six days, six 24-hour periods. And there is just as much, if not more, evidence supporting that," than evolution, O'Donnell said in a
CNN interview.
The now-Catholic O'Donnell's
beliefs on creationism are at odds with her church and pope. Pope Benedict XVI in 2007 addressed the debate between creationism and evolution, insisting: "This clash is an absurdity because on one hand there is much scientific proof in favor of evolution, which appears as a reality that we must see and which enriches our understanding of life and being as such."

While it is true Catholic generally believe in evolution she is not really "at odds" with her Church in that the Church allows plenty of leeway in this matter. Someone that is "odds: with his Church is VP Joe Biden with his position on abortion
